The history of this restaurant began in the 1930s, and today it’s managed by the second generation of the family, with the charismatic Leopoldo Arlati leading the way.

The unusual design and multitude of interesting details create a bohemian atmosphere in all the dining rooms. Each is decorated with vintage pieces that test the imagination. At the same time, they lend an atmosphere of warmth and comfort. This is a splendid place to meet old friends or have a family dinner. Plus it’s just the spot for design lovers and foodies. The food is typical Milanese and of exceptional quality.

We recommend: Begin with the gran misto della casa and the salad with artichokes, then the tortelloni with ricotta, the spinach in a light sauce and gorgonzola (can be replaced with parmesan) and the regional favorite, Osso Buco. Or a Milanese risotto. For desert, the mandarin sorbet.

Cuisine: Local.

Atmosphere: Bohemian.

The crowd: Members of famous Italian families, expats.

Key info: The restaurant is proud of its wine cellar, which hold about 10 thousand bottles of wine from the most famous producers.
