The Blain|Southern gallery of contemporary art was launched in 2010 by Harry Blain and Graham Southern with a sensational grand opening that featured new works by the young British artist Mat Collishaw. But the founders were by that point already well-known. Back in 2002, they founded the Haunch of Venison gallery, which was sold at Christie's five years later. Harry and Graham frequently appear on ArtReview's "Power 100" list of the most influential people in the art world. Blain|Southern also has galleries in Berlin and New York.

Artists on display include Ali Banisadr, Marius Bercea, Jonas Burgert, Mat Collishaw, Lucian Freud, Gilberto Zorio, Lawrence Weiner, Bill Viola, and others.
