The Charles Dickens Museum in Bloomsbury is the former home of famous author Charles Dickens and a stunning example of a Georgian terraced house. Immerse yourself in the sights, sounds and scents of his family home. The rare books, paintings, photographs and personal objects on display here give a unique insight into his life and work.

The museum café is definitely a hidden gem nestled right in the heart of the area. Situated in a light and airy extention of the historic building, and with an attractive courtyard garden adjacent, it offers a tranquil oasis in the hustle and bustle of BloomsburyLike the indoors part of the cafe, the garden has various bits and pieces relating to Dickens’s life, but our favourite part has to be the fountain.
