London’s first Peruvian restaurant to include a private members bar, Coya features the best contemporary Peruvian cuisine for a modern and discerning London clientele, alongside an extensive Pisco bar. Food, art, and music come together in one place.
Housed in an impressive Georgian building, Coya's interiors were designed by David D'Almada (recent commissions include La Petite Maison in London and Dubai as well as The Arts Club). Coya's design combines a luxurious decor that juxtaposes a rich Incan palette against modern metallic finishes with a nod to a colonial past.
To ensure that the origins of Coya stemmed from a place of absolute authenticity, the team travelled to Peru in search of inspiration and local knowledge, bringing back the very best recipes along with stunning pieces of antique Peruvian furniture that feature throughout the restaurant and members club.
We recommend: Peruvian asparagus, panca chili, garlic (espárragos peruanos), tiger prawns, coriander, green chili (camarón tigre), lamb chops. For dessert, try one of the many flavors of the homemade ice-cream.
Cuisine: Contemporary Peruvian.
Atmosphere: Trendy.
The crowd: Sophisticated Mayfair and Knightsbridge residents, businessmen, trendy people, and stylish couples.
