Sean Kelly Gallery

British-born Sean Kelly opened his gallery in 1991. Over the next 20-plus years, he put together an outstanding collection of contemporary art and established close ties with many of the world's most leading contemporary art galleries and museums. In 2012, the Sean Kelly Gallery added tons of new gallery space by moving into a two-story building in Hudson Yards, an important step given the gallery's focus on installations, performances, and an expanding roster of artists.

Marina Abramović, Julião Sarmento, Joseph Kosuth, James Casebere, Callum Innes, Robert Mapplethorpe, Rebecca Horn, Leandro Erlich — the selection is impressive to say the least.
