Southbank Centre is a bona fide art enclave on the south bank of the Thames and the largest arts center in Europe. It's made of up of two spaces: the Royal Festival Hall and Queen Elizabeth Hall. Every year, the Southbank Centre hosts hundreds of free and paid events, including concerts, shows, performances, exhibitions, lectures, festivals, fairs, and more.

From a poetry library to restaurants, the centre has everything you'd need to spend days on end here. And everybody is welcome, from novice artists and musicians eager to improve their skills, to parents with children. The people behind the Southbank Centre believe that art and culture can and should change our lives (presumably for the better). Their mission is to teach people how to do it together.
