This contemporary hotel in Covent Garden in the heart of London's theater district first opened in 1999. Morgans Hotel Group hired designer Philippe Starck to design the interiors, which were renovated 15 years later to be more comfortable and contemporary by his protegé, Tim Andreas. We'd describe the style as minimalism meets British classicism with a touch of kitsch.
The hotel's 204 rooms include suites, apartments, and a penthouse. Whites and off-whites dominate. Floor-to-ceiling windows let in plenty of light and air. The rooms are equipped with interactive systems that allow guests to control the brightness and even color of the lights: green, light blue, white, whatever fits your mood!
Asia de Cuba restaurant, well-regarded by locals, serves an original blend of Cuban and Asian cuisines. You can also grab a quick bite and a cup of tea at Den, a cozy lounge that also serves breakfast all day. St Martins Lane has a fully equipped gym. Wi-Fi is included in the room charge.
