The State Tretyakov Gallery at Krymsky Val is primarily devoted to 20th century Russian art with some 21st century works, from the first avant-garde experiments in the 1910s to contemporary art. The most interesting thing to do here, in our opinion, is to compare how different artists portrayed Soviet reality.
