This restaurant, with its amazing food, prominent guests, and corresponding prices, opened in Lincoln Center in 2010 and has maintained a reputation for "class and elegance." The cuisine is contemporary Italian with an original twist, thanks to Michelin-star chef Jonathan Benno. Everything is lovingly prepared using local ingredients and authentic recipes.
Though it has glass walls on three sides, the restaurant is surprisingly cozy. There's a lovely outdoor terrace in the summer. Also, look for the open kitchen, which resembles something out of a sci-fi flick.
We recommend: Try the prix fixe menu: three or four dishes for $60/75.
