Once upon a time, the High Line was just a railroad. Today, it's a major New York landmark. This leafy, elevated footpath connects the trendy Meatpacking District, with its many restaurants, to Chelsea, home to scores of world-class art galleries.
Lush landscaping, benches, and a view of the Hudson River give the High Line something of a romantic vibe. This is a line you've got to walk at least once.
