A sister restaurant of Caza Cruz in Notting Hill, this is a second successful London launch by the restaurateur and designer Juan Santa Cruz nestled in the heart of Mayfair’s Albemarle Street.
Named after Juan’s grandmother, a truly modern woman who lived a full and exciting social life, the restaurant is frequented by celebrities while its after-hours bar the Dragon Room became London’s new late-night spot to sample delicious cocktails (try Copper Martinis made with espresso and dulce de leche) and dance away to DJ sets until early hours.
The glamorous 70’s inspired interiors and seductive atmosphere coupled with the staff strutting in Johanna Ortiz designed uniforms – these are the details to which Juan Santa Cruz pays a great deal of attention while growing his luxury restaurant brand between London and Buenos Aires.
Isabel’s Mediterranean-style menu consisting of healthy superfood small plates between pizzetas, salads, fresh vegetables and fish, raw and cooked, is perfectly complemented with a contemporary Argentine twist offering delicious meaty choices like the signature Ají Chicken and Beef short rib ravioli with black truffle, not to mention the dessert like Dulce de Leche Fondant or Lemon Polenta Cake with Crème Fraiche. It’s worth noting the majority of dishes on the menu are lactose, sugar and gluten free.
