This Upper East Side restaurant from young restauranteurs Ben Towill and Phil Winser, creators of the Fat Radish, has become as popular as its predecessor. The interior is simple, free of excess details in the best tradition of Manhattan's most fashionable institutions.

Locals have fallen head over heels for the East Pole's clean design with tasteful highlights (we particularly liked the old world maps), outstanding menu, and organic seasonal ingredients.

We recommend: Atlantic tuna tartare; chicken Kiev. For brunch, try the avocado toast, kale caesar salad, or eggs Florentine.
