Cecconi's Mayfair

They say: "don't judge a book by its cover". Despite it’s formal, from the first sight, atmosphere, Cecconi's is a cozy Italian restaurant with Venetian-inspired menu. Based in historical Burlington Gardens, the restaurant is surrounded by private art galleries and private tailor shops. Cecconi's has a striking green and dark wood interior, reminiscent of classy Italian bar. The waiters are very friendly and welcoming - they have warm Italian attitude. 

We recommend: For starter go for aubergine parmigiana, proscuitto toscano or Courgette flower with ricotta & tomato sauce.  Baked cod served with clams, mussels and capers is delicious here. Crab ravioli or lobster spaghetti for ladies. Beef rib eye or breaded swordfish for gentlemen. For dessert try homemade tiramisu.

The crowd: Elegant Italians, royal families, mayfair residents and businessmen, art dealers, sophisticated couples.
