This gallery specializes in works by outstanding, established artists as well as groundbreaking new ones, adjectives that could easily be applied to the gallery itself. Opened in 2000, Canada Gallery was a pioneer on the Lower East Side art scene and remains one to this day.
The art community has recognized its undeniable contribution to the promotion of contemporary art. Even as Canada doesn't try too hard to please anybody, its popularly continues to rise, and New York's premier art publications regularly shower it with praise and glowing reviews.
